About Sam

Sam Margolis is a trombonist, composer and bandleader from New York City. A graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music currently living in Brooklyn, Sam continues to compose and perform original music with his own group and plays regularly with several bands around NYC. His debut album “Where’d The Time Go?” was released in October 2026. Sam has headlined in the NoMad Jazz Festival, performed in jazz festivals across Europe, iconic local venues such as: Birdland, Village Vanguard, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and toured the country with Spanish rock icons "Hombres G," playing sold out shows at major venues including Crypto.com Arena and Radio City Music Hall.
